Lucknow | In a significant boost to campus placements, Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has opened recruitment for Graduate Commercial Trainee (GCT) positions through the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of Lucknow University. The opportunity is open to students of Lucknow University as well as its affiliated colleges, offering a strong career start with one of India’s leading multinational companies.
The recruitment will be conducted for pan-India postings, providing selected candidates exposure to large-scale projects and professional work environments across the country.
Roles and Responsibilities
Candidates selected for the Graduate Commercial Trainee role will be engaged in key operational and support functions, including:
Finance and accounts operations
GST, TDS, and taxation-related activities
Site administration
Procurement and material management
Support in industrial relations
MIS reporting and internal coordination
These responsibilities are designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on industry experience.
Eligibility Criteria
Final-year full-time undergraduate students from the following disciplines are eligible to apply:
B.Com, BBA, BBM
B.Sc. (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics)
BA (Material Management)
Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Class 10, Class 12, and graduation (up to 4th semester), with no active backlogs. Eligible candidates should be born between 1 July 2003 and 30 June 2008.
Salary Package
Selected candidates will be offered a CTC of ₹3 lakh per annum, which may go up to ₹3.57 lakh per annum for project site-based postings. In addition to competitive compensation, L&T will provide structured training and long-term career growth opportunities.
