TCS recruits 15 Lucknow University engineering and MCA students in campus drive

Placements span 2025 and 2026 batches, with top offers reaching Rs 7.09 lakh per annum

In a significant boost to campus placements, 15 students from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the MCA programme at Lucknow University’s second campus have secured positions with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of India’s leading IT companies.
The successful candidates belong to both the 2025 and 2026 graduating batches and cleared a multi-stage selection process that included an online assessment, technical interview, and HR interview.
Nine students from 2026 batch secure offers
According to university officials, nine students from the 2026 batch were selected by TCS. Among them, B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) students Aditya Vardhan Singh and Garv Mittal received offers for the position of System Engineer with an annual package of Rs 7.09 lakh (CTC).
The remaining seven students were selected for the role of Assistant System Engineer-Trainee with an annual package of Rs 3.46 lakh (CTC). These include B.Tech (CSE) students Pallavi Tripathi, Rishav Singh, Shivam Yadav, Rishabh Gupta, and Aman Kumar Yadav, along with B.Tech (CSE-AI) students Unnati Pandit and Rohit Maurya.
Six students from 2025 batch also make the cut
From the 2025 batch, six students secured placements with the IT major. B.Tech (ECE) student Raj Hans and B.Tech (CSE-AI) student Divyanshu Dwivedi were selected as System Engineers with a package of Rs 7.09 lakh (CTC) per annum.
Meanwhile, B.Tech (CSE) students Akash Tiwari and Tanishq Singh, along with MCA students Gyan Sagar Srivastava and Star Bawa, were offered the position of Assistant System Engineer-Trainee at a package of Rs 3.46 lakh (CTC) annually.

Congratulating the students on their achievement, Lucknow University Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Saini extended his best wishes for their professional journey ahead. Placement Cell Chairman Prof. S.P. Singh also praised the students for their performance and dedication. Placement Cell Vice-Chairman Dr. Himanshu Pandey said the selections reflect the growing industry readiness of students at the university’s second campus and highlight the institution’s continued focus on strengthening placement opportunities in the technology sector.
