In a major boost to engineering placements in Uttar Pradesh, 521 B.Tech students from colleges affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) have secured job offers from Tata Consultancy Services through a university-facilitated campus recruitment drive.

The large-scale recruitment resulted in selections across TCS’s Prime, Digital, and Ninja hiring categories, highlighting the company’s confidence in the technical skills and employability of AKTU students. The placement drive was conducted under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey.

Among the selected candidates, students hired under the Prime category have been offered an annual package of ₹11 lakh, while those selected in the Digital category will receive ₹7.3 lakh per annum. Candidates recruited through the Ninja category have been offered an annual package of ₹3.6 lakh, along with additional company benefits.

The achievement reflects AKTU’s continued emphasis on enhancing industry readiness and employability among its students. University officials stated that efforts are being made to align academic learning with evolving industry requirements through skill development initiatives, internship programmes, and regular industry interactions.

Congratulating the selected students, Prof. J.P. Pandey said the achievement would motivate more students to strive for excellence and take advantage of emerging career opportunities in the technology industry.
