The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has started the online application process for the recruitment of Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO), and Computer Assistant posts. A total of 543 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment drive, offering a significant opportunity for graduates aspiring to secure a government position in the judicial sector.

The online registration process commenced on June 1, 2026, and interested candidates can submit their applications through the official recruitment portal. The last date to apply is June 21, 2026, while the application fee can be paid until June 22, 2026.

Vacancy distribution

Out of the total 543 vacancies, 138 posts have been announced for Review Officer, 380 for Assistant Review Officer, and 25 for Computer Assistant. Assistant Review Officer accounts for the largest share of vacancies in the recruitment drive. Detailed category-wise vacancy information will be available in the official notification.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for the Review Officer post must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.

For the Assistant Review Officer post, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree along with a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, an ‘O’ Level certificate issued by NIELIT (DOEACC Society), or a CCC certificate in Computer Concepts from a recognized institution.

Candidates interested in the Computer Assistant post must have knowledge of data entry, word processing, and computer operations. They should also be able to type at least 25 words per minute in English on a computer.

Age limit

For Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer posts, candidates must be between 21 and 35 years of age. Applicants for the Computer Assistant post should be between 18 and 35 years old. The age limit will be calculated as of July 1, 2026.

Selection process

The recruitment process will consist of a written examination followed by a typing test and a computer proficiency test. Candidates who qualify in all stages will be considered for final selection as per the recruitment rules of the Allahabad High Court.

Application fee

Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,200. Applicants from the SC, ST, and EWS categories of Uttar Pradesh will have to pay ₹1,000.

The online application process began on June 1, 2026. Candidates can submit their applications until June 21, 2026, while the fee payment window will remain open until June 22, 2026.
