The Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, has invited online applications for 47 vacancies under Group B and Group C categories. The recruitment drive offers opportunities for candidates from medical, paramedical, engineering, and healthcare support backgrounds.

The available positions include Junior Engineer, Technical Officer (Perfusion), Technician, Medical Lab Technologist, Pharmacist, Receptionist, and several other technical and support staff roles.

Eligibility criteria vary by post 

Candidates applying for the Technical Officer (Perfusion) position must possess a BSc in Medical Perfusion or a BSc degree with a relevant certification and at least five years of experience. Junior Engineer applicants should hold a diploma in the relevant engineering discipline along with the prescribed experience. For Technician posts, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Science and possess a related diploma or BSc degree. Medical Lab Technologist applicants require a graduate degree and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Pharmacist candidates must have a diploma in pharmacy and valid registration, while Receptionist applicants should hold a graduation degree along with a postgraduate diploma.

Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates in accordance with government norms.

Selected candidates will receive salaries ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹1,42,400 per month, depending on the post and pay level.

The selection process will consist of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Skill Test or Technical Test for applicable posts, and document verification. OBC candidates must secure at least 50 percent marks to qualify, while SC/ST candidates must obtain a minimum of 45 percent marks.

The application fee is ₹1,180 for OBC candidates and ₹708 for SC/ST candidates.
