Hindustan Aeronautics Limited opens Walk-In Drive for 205 trade apprentice posts in Hyderabad

ITI-qualified candidates can attend interviews from May 28 to June 1 for apprenticeship opportunities across multiple technical trades

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has announced a major recruitment drive for Trade Apprentice positions at its Avionics Division in Hyderabad. The public sector aerospace and defence company will conduct walk-in interviews for 205 apprentice vacancies between May 28 and June 1, 2026.
The recruitment is aimed at ITI-qualified candidates from NCVT-recognised institutions. Interested applicants must also be registered on the Apprenticeship India portal before appearing for the interview process.
According to the notification, candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and document verification. No written examination fee or application charge will be required for the recruitment process.
Multiple technical trades included
HAL will recruit apprentices for several technical trades, including:
• Fitter
• Electronics Mechanic
• Electrician
• COPA
• Machinist
The selected candidates will receive a stipend as per Apprenticeship Rules and company norms.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must fulfil the following conditions:
• ITI qualification in the relevant trade
• Certification from an NCVT-recognised institute
• Mandatory registration on the Apprenticeship India portal
• Candidates must carry all original documents and KYC details during reporting
The company has not yet announced the upper age limit for applicants.
Selection process
The selection process will include:
• Walk-in interview
• Merit-based shortlisting
• Document verification
Candidates are advised to report at the interview venue on their scheduled date with original certificates, identity proof, apprenticeship registration details, and other required documents.
