Lucknow campuses drive career momentum with mega job fair and fresh placement successes

National PG College opens registrations for a multi-sector job fair on May 26, while AKTU and Lucknow University students secure promising placement offers across banking,

Lucknow’s higher education institutions are witnessing a strong push toward employability and industry engagement, with major recruitment initiatives and successful campus placements creating fresh opportunities for students across disciplines.

National PG College to host mega job fair on May 26

National PG College will organise a “Job Fair and Career Connect Initiative” on May 26 from 9:00 AM onwards at its campus in Lucknow. The event is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as alumni from previous academic batches.

According to Principal Prof. Devendra Kumar Singh, the recruitment drive will cater to students from commerce, management, science, humanities, social sciences, information technology, and media streams.

More than 25 reputed companies and industry partners are expected to participate in the job fair. Major recruiters include ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, NIIT, Genpact, Jaro Education and Vivo India, among others.

Students participating in the drive have been advised to carry their updated resume along with a college ID card or any valid identity proof.

AKTU pharma students receive offers from Macleods Pharmaceuticals

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University conducted a campus placement drive for BPharma final-year students through its Training and Placement Department in collaboration with Macleods Pharmaceuticals.

A total of 45 students from the university’s pharmacy department participated in the recruitment process, which included written examinations, interviews, and communication skill assessments conducted by the company’s HR team and industry experts.

Following multiple evaluation rounds, 12 students were selected and issued offer letters by the company.

The selected candidates will be placed in Production and Quality Control roles with an annual package of ₹3 lakh along with additional company benefits. The recruits may be posted across different cities based on organisational requirements.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey congratulated the selected students and reiterated the university’s continued focus on industry-oriented training, emerging technologies, and career development initiatives for students.

Faculty members including Dr. Akash Ved, Dr. Jaiveer Singh, Anjali Singh, Priya Arya, and Shishir Dwivedi were present during the placement drive.

Lucknow University students secure high-paying campus placements

University of Lucknow recorded another successful placement drive at its second campus through the Training and Placement Cell, where nine students received job offers from leading education-sector companies.

According to Engineering Faculty Placement Cell In-charge Dr. Himanshu Pandey, four students were selected by Hike Education for the position of Business Development Manager with an annual package of up to ₹7.62 lakh.

The selected students are:

• Riya Kumari (MCA)

• Vartika Chandra (MBA – Lumba)

• Ritik Dwivedi (BCA)

• Ayush Jindal (BTech – CSE)

Meanwhile, Learning Routes selected five MBA students for the role of Sales Associate with a package of up to ₹6.06 lakh per annum.

The selected students include:

• Vaishnavi Tiwari (MBA – IMS)

• Adeeba Sabih (MBA – IMS)

• Rudransh Prabhu (MBA – IMS)

• Kushagra Singh (MBA – IMS)

• Jaya Pandey (MBA – IMS)

The placement drive was coordinated with support from student placement coordinators Aryan Singh, Abhinav Singh, and Ishan Rastogi.
