In a major opportunity for government job aspirants in Uttar Pradesh, the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notification for recruitment to 170 posts of Vidhan Bhavan Rakshak and Agnik/Fireman under the UP Vidhan Bhavan Recruitment 2026 drive.

The online application process will start from June 9, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their forms till June 29, 2026 through the official UPSSSC website. Candidates will also get an opportunity to make corrections in their application forms till July 6, 2026.

According to the notification, candidates must have a valid PET 2025 scorecard to apply for the recruitment process. Applicants should also have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or institution.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for the recruitment must fulfill the following conditions:

• PET 2025 scorecard is mandatory

• Educational qualification should be from a recognised institution

Selection process and exam pattern

The main examination will include questions from multiple subjects including:

• History

• Geography

• Indian Constitution

• General Science

• Current Affairs

• Sports

The exam will consist of 100 questions and negative marking will also be applicable.
