The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the Chief Minister Tourism Fellowship Programme to boost tourism and create opportunities for youth. Under the scheme, selected candidates up to 40 years of age will receive ₹40,000 per month for one year.

In a major push to promote tourism and create new career opportunities, the Uttar Pradesh government has launched the Chief Minister Tourism Fellowship Programme. The initiative not only aims to strengthen the state’s tourism sector but also provides young graduates a chance to earn while contributing to meaningful research and development.

Under the scheme, selected fellows will receive ₹40,000 per month for one year, with the possibility of extension for another year. The fellowship is open to graduates up to 40 years of age.

To apply, candidates must have completed graduation with at least 60% marks from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with qualifications in Tourism and Travel Management, MBA in Hospitality, Archaeology, MPhil, PhD, BBA, MA, or related fields.

The core objective of the fellowship is to engage researchers in monitoring tourism projects and contributing to the holistic development of heritage, ecological, and cultural destinations across Uttar Pradesh. Officials believe this initiative will not only boost tourism growth but also empower youth with practical field exposure and financial support.
