Lucknow : In a significant step towards strengthening healthcare through technology, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together in the fields of medical research, innovation, and advanced healthcare practices. The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between medical science and modern technology, ultimately benefiting patients, students, and society at large.


The MoU was formally signed by AKTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey and BRD Medical College Principal Dr. Ramkumar Jaiswal. The partnership marks the beginning of a long-term academic and technical collaboration focused on improving medical education, research outcomes, and healthcare delivery.


Focus on Research, Training, and Skill Development

Under this agreement, both institutions will jointly undertake research and development initiatives in the medical field. Experts from AKTU will guide medical professionals and students at BRD Medical College on the practical application of AI in healthcare. From managing outpatient departments (OPD) to assisting in diagnostic procedures and medical investigations, AI-based solutions are expected to make healthcare services faster, more accurate, and patient-friendly.
