Uttar Pradesh has earned national recognition in the field of environmental learning as three schools from the state won the prestigious Wipro Earthian Awards for their outstanding work in sustainability education.

The award-winning schools are PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gomtinagar (Lucknow), Upper Primary School, Gokulpur (Aligarh), and Prathmik Vidyalaya, Vidarpur (Fatehpur Sikri, Agra). These schools were selected for their innovative, student-led projects focusing on themes such as biodiversity conservation, waste management, and sustainable use of natural resources.
