AMU Admissions 2026, Registration for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and professional programmes at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) begins today, February 1. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal, amucontrollerexams.com.

For the 2026–27 academic session, the application fee for AMU entrance examinations ranges from ₹750 to ₹1,050, depending on the course selected. According to university authorities, several entrance tests will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper mode.

As per the official schedule, AMU will hold the BA (Hons) entrance examinations on April 12 and April 19, offering aspirants a key opportunity to secure admission to one of India’s premier central universities.

Step 1: Visit the official website — amucontrollerexams.com

Step 2: Select the admission tab given on the home page and click on the registration link.

Step 3: Log in by entering your email and password.

Step 4: Fill out the application form and submit the important documents.

Step 5: Pay the required fee.

Step 6: Download the application form and payment receipt for future reference. Candidates are required to fill out only one application form for multiple courses.

AMU Exam Schedule

AMU has announced the schedule for its entrance examinations for the academic year 2026-27. The entrance exam for BTech, BArch, and BBA programmes will be held on April 19. Exams for senior secondary courses (science, humanities, commerce), engineering diploma, and the bridge course are scheduled for April 26.

Entrance tests for MBA programmes, along with MPH, MSW, and BEd, will take place on June 7. A large number of candidates are expected to appear across all courses.
