From Lucknow to the UK: BBAU Signs Academic Partnership for Dual Degrees and Shared Research

The collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening international academic ties and expanding global exposure for BBAU students

Lucknow: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) has partnered with the University of South Wales, Cardiff (UK), opening new opportunities for students to pursue dual degrees and participate in joint research and academic projects. The collaboration marks an important step towards strengthening international academic ties and expanding global exposure for BBAU students.
The university has also approved its participation in the proposed Jean Monnet EU–India Network (JMEUIN). BBAU Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. S. Victor Babu said the proposal was presented by Prof. Christian Kunnert of the University of South Wales and aims to promote interdisciplinary research, academic mobility, curriculum innovation, and policy-oriented academic dialogue.
BBAU spokesperson Rachna Gangwar said the collaboration will significantly strengthen academic research and enhance the university’s global academic presence. She noted that such partnerships play a crucial role in preparing students for global challenges while also raising the university’s academic profile on the international stage.
