Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, and Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU), Bhiwani, have entered into a strategic academic partnership aimed at strengthening higher education, research, innovation and digital learning. The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during a virtual ceremony attended by the Vice Chancellors of both universities.

The agreement was signed by BBAU Registrar Dr. Ashwini Kumar Singh and CBLU Registrar Prof. Bhawna Sharma in the presence of BBAU Vice Chancellor Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal and CBLU Vice Chancellor Prof. Deepti Dharmani, marking the beginning of a long term institutional collaboration.

The partnership is designed to create new opportunities for academic exchange and collaborative learning. Both universities will work together to deliver online lectures and academic content through platforms such as the Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC), Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). The initiative also seeks to encourage knowledge sharing among faculty members and enhance students access to quality digital education.

In addition to promoting academic excellence, the MoU places strong emphasis on skill development, entrepreneurship, innovation and the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The institutions believe the collaboration will help develop future ready learners while contributing to the broader goals of educational and social development.

The agreement also provides a framework for sharing academic resources and expertise based on mutual consent, without creating any additional financial obligations for either university.

Several senior faculty members from both institutions participated in the virtual event, reflecting the universities shared commitment to expanding collaborative academic initiatives.

To ensure smooth execution of the partnership, Prof. Sunita Bharatwal and Dr. Arpit Shailesh have been appointed as the coordinators responsible for monitoring and facilitating joint academic and institutional activities under the MoU. The collaboration is expected to pave the way for sustained academic engagement and innovative educational practices in the years ahead.
