UP B.Ed entrance exam 2026 result declared: Bundelkhand University releases merit list with top performers

Over 4 lakh candidates compete; women outperform with strong representation in top rankings

Bundelkhand University, Jhansi has officially announced the result of the Uttar Pradesh Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination 2026. The result was declared on June 16, 2026, marking the culmination of the state-level admission process conducted earlier this year.
Candidates can now access their results and merit status through the official examination portal of Bundelkhand University. Further counselling and admission procedures will be announced as per the schedule released by the university and state authorities.
The examination, held on May 31, 2026, was conducted across Uttar Pradesh with a total of 4,44,958 registered candidates, of which 4,00,107 candidates appeared in the exam. The entrance test is one of the largest state-level teacher education admission examinations in the country.
Strong female representation in top 10
This year’s top 10 rank holders include 4 male and 6 female candidates, highlighting a strong academic performance by women candidates.
• Rank 1 has been secured by Vandana Singh from Aligarh (Science stream)
• Rank 2 has been achieved by Nitin Pachauri from Aligarh (Science stream)
• Rank 3 has been secured by Khushi Ajay Mishra from Jaunpur (Science stream)
Transparent evaluation and digital processing
The evaluation process was conducted through computerized OMR-based assessment with verification checks to ensure accuracy in scoring and ranking. The university confirmed that the entire process followed standardized procedures for result compilation and validation.
The result was officially declared at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi by the Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Yogendra Upadhyay, in the presence of Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari.
The event was also attended by senior state and university officials, including Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Shri M. K. Agrawal, Secretary, Higher Education, Shri Amrit Tripathi. Vice Chancellor, Bundelkhand University, Prof. Mukesh Pandey.
