Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges honours 542 academic achievers at grand ‘Medha Samman Samaroh 2026’

Meritorious students from ICSE, ISC, CBSE and UP Board examinations receive awards, cash prizes and recognition alongside distinguished alumni serving in top administrative positions

Lucknow witnessed a celebration of academic excellence as Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges organised the grand “Medha Samman Samaroh 2026” at Shri Ramlal Memorial Auditorium, Gomti Nagar. The event honoured 542 meritorious students and their parents for outstanding performances in ICSE, ISC, CBSE and UP Board examinations.

The awards were presented by the institution’s Founder Chairman Dr. S.P. Singh, Member of Parliament, who congratulated students for bringing laurels to the institution through exceptional academic achievements.

The ceremony also recognised 22 distinguished alumni currently serving in prestigious positions including IAS, PCS and other senior administrative roles. They, along with their parents, were felicitated with shawls and mementoes in recognition of their contributions and achievements.

Top performers receive cash awards

Among the most celebrated achievers was Shivam Awasthi from the A-Block, Rajajipuram branch, who secured 99.8% marks in ICSE Class 10 examinations and achieved the second rank nationally. He was awarded a cheque of ₹1.5 lakh along with a certificate of appreciation and a memento.

Shaveer Prakash Srivastava from the Sahara States branch received ₹50,000, a citation and a memento for scoring 99% in ICSE examinations.

In ISC Class 12 results, Samriddhi Dwivedi and Ikra Alam from the A-Block, Rajajipuram branch scored 99.25%, while Juhi Chaudhary secured 99%. All three students were honoured with cheques worth ₹50,000 each along with certificates and mementoes.

From Sitapur branch, CBSE Class 12 student Shreyansh Singh scored 99% and secured the top position in the district. He was awarded ₹50,000, a citation and a commemorative memento.

UP Board toppers from Rajajipuram branch shine

Students from the B-Block, Rajajipuram branch also brought pride to the institution with impressive performances in the UP Board examinations.

Archi Singh secured 93% marks and achieved second position in Lucknow district, while Bhairavi Maurya scored 92.4% to secure third position. Sameeksha Rajput, with 91% marks, earned the fifth position in the district. All three students were felicitated with certificates and mementoes during the ceremony.

Institution focused on nation building: Dr. S.P. Singh

Addressing the gathering, Dr. S.P. Singh said that the mission of Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges extends beyond imparting education and focuses on nurturing talent for nation building.

“Our students are making the institution proud at the global level. Their achievements are a matter of immense pride for all of us,” he said.

The event was attended by former MLC Kanti Singh, Managing Director Sushil Kumar, General Manager Harshit Singh, Director Neha Singh, Deputy Director Anita Chaudhary, Meena Tangdi, principals of all branches, teachers, media representatives and a large number of parents.
