DSMNRU opens PG admissions for 2026-27; Applications for 1,077 seats begin May 20

University offers admissions through CUET and non-CUET modes across MBA, MCA, LLM, MTech, MA, MSc and special education programmes

Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University has announced the commencement of admissions for postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27. Online applications will be accepted from May 20 to June 20, 2026, for a total of 1,077 seats across various departments and affiliated colleges.
According to university officials, admissions will be conducted through both CUET and non-CUET modes, depending on the programme. The university has invited applications for courses including MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, MCA, LLM, MSW, MEd, BEd Special Education, MTech and several other postgraduate programmes. Admissions to select programmes such as MPO and PGDVT will be conducted through the non-CUET route.
Application fee kept affordable
The university administration has fixed the application fee at Rs 100 for differently-abled (PwD) candidates and Rs 200 for other applicants. Students can access the admission brochure and submit applications through the university’s official website.
Vice-Chancellor Acharya Sanjay Singh said the admission process has been designed to be transparent, technology-driven and accessible for all students, including differently-abled candidates.

Course-Wise Seat Breakdown
Education & Special Education Programs
There are 33 seats available each for B.Ed. S.E. (HI), B.Ed. S.E. (ID), and B.Ed. S.E. (VI).
M.A. (Education) has a total capacity of 44 seats.
For the Master of Education programs, M.Ed. S.E. (HI) offers 22 seats, while M.Ed. S.E. (ID) and M.Ed. S.E. (VI) offer 16 seats each.
Arts & Humanities (M.A. Courses)
The following Master of Arts (M.A.) programs each have an intake capacity of 44 seats: M.A. (Economics), M.A. (English), M.A. (Hindi), M.A. (History), M.A. (Political Science), M.A. (Sociology)
Science & Technology (M.Sc. & M.Tech. Courses)
There are 44 seats available for each of these Master of Science (M.Sc.) disciplines: M.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (Microbiology), M.Sc. (Physics), M.Sc. (Statistics),
Both M.Tech. AIDS and M.Tech. AIML have an intake of 22 seats each.
The MCA (Master of Computer Applications) program has 44 seats.
Commerce, Management & Professional Courses
The M.B.A. program has the highest number of seats on the list, with a total of 132 seats.
M.Com. and M.S.W. (Master of Social Work) both offer 44 seats each.
LL.M. (Master of Laws) has a total of 22 seats.
M.P.O. and PGDVT both have the lowest individual capacity on the list, with 11 seats each.
Visual Arts (MVA Courses)
For the Master of Visual Arts programs, MVA (Applied Arts) offers 16 seats, MVA (Painting) offers 20 seats, and MVA (Sculpture) offers 8 seats.
