BBAU Athletes Shine on State Stage with Gold in Sansad Khel Mahakumbh and Taekwondo Success

University’s football team clinches top honor while student athlete Shashwat Singh secures medals in two major competitions

Students of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University have delivered an impressive sporting performance at state-level competitions, bringing recognition to the university through achievements in football and taekwondo.
The Boys Football Team of the university won the Gold Medal at the ‘Sansad Khel Mahakumbh’, a major sporting event organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The victory added another milestone to the university’s growing sports achievements and drew appreciation from the academic community.
Vice-Chancellor Raj Kumar Mittal congratulated the players for their outstanding performance and described the achievement as a proud moment for the university.
Adding to the celebrations, Shashwat Singh, a student of BBA (Hons.), delivered a remarkable individual performance by winning a Gold Medal at the same tournament. He further strengthened the university’s sporting reputation by securing third place in the Under-74 kg category at the ‘Taekwondo Senior State Championship’, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Committee affiliated with India Taekwondo.
University officials said the achievements reflect the growing participation and excellence of BBAU students in competitive sports at the state level.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Dadwal, Assistant Director of the Sports Section, along with faculty members and students, congratulated all the medal winners and extended best wishes for their future competitions.
