Lucknow University Opens PG Admissions 2026–27: Apply Online by June 15

Lucknow University has officially commenced the admission process for postgraduate (PG) and PG professional programmes for the academic session 2026–27. The application window opened on Monday under the university’s centralized admission system, offering students a chance to secure seats in a wide range of disciplines.
According to the notification released by Admission Coordinator Professor Anitya Gaurav, candidates can complete their registration and application through the Samarth Portal until June 15, 2026. The university is offering admission to approximately 6,839 seats across 86 courses, including both traditional PG and professional programmes.
Mandatory LURN Registration First Step
Students seeking admission in Lucknow University or its affiliated/associated colleges must first generate a Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN). Without this registration, candidates will not be able to proceed with the application process. The LURN registration fee has been set at ₹100.

Applicants need to visit the official university website and follow a few simple steps:

Click on the admissions section
Select “New Registration” to create a login ID
Use a valid email ID and keep login credentials secured for future use

The university has outlined a category-wise fee structure for different programmes:
PG Courses (including LLB, LLM):
General/OBC/EWS: ₹1500
SC/ST: ₹750
PG Professional Courses (MBA, MBA TTM, MBA Pharma, MPharm):
General/OBC/EWS: ₹2000
SC/ST: ₹1000
MEd Programme:
General/OBC/EWS: ₹2000
SC/ST: ₹1000
BPEd & MPEd Programmes:
General/OBC/EWS: ₹2000
SC/ST: ₹1000
