With the declaration of the UP Board Class 12 results, several prominent aided degree colleges in Lucknow have started offering direct admissions to undergraduate (UG) courses, aiming to fill vacant seats and provide quick opportunities for students.
Institutions such as AP Sen Memorial Girls PG College, Bappa Sri Narain Vocational PG College (KKV), DAV Degree College, and Khun Khun Ji Girls PG College have initiated the process. Students can apply directly by submitting forms and paying the required fees, without going through a lengthy centralized counselling system.
AP Sen Memorial Girls PG College: Wide Range of Courses
At AP Sen Memorial Girls PG College, Principal Prof. Rachna Srivastava shared that the college offers 475 seats in BA, 80 in B.Com, and 60 seats each in BBA and BCA. The annual fee for BA is ₹3,447, while B.Com costs ₹7,000 per semester. BBA and BCA programs are priced at ₹11,000 per semester. A prospectus fee of ₹500 applies to all courses, and students can secure admission by directly submitting their forms.
Bappa Sri Narain Vocational PG College (KKV): LURN Mandatory
Meanwhile, Bappa Sri Narain Vocational PG College (KKV) has opened 700 seats in BA, 350 each in B.Sc (Biology) and B.Sc (Mathematics). Under the self-financed scheme, the college is also offering 240 seats in B.Com, 60 in BCA, and 60 in B.Sc (Computer Science). However, students must have a valid Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN) to be eligible for admission.
Khun Khun Ji Girls PG College: Limited Courses
At Khun Khun Ji Girls PG College, located in Chowk, admissions are underway for 385 seats in BA and 60 seats in B.Com. Principal Prof. Anshu Kedia confirmed that interested candidates can directly apply by filling out the admission form.
DAV Degree College: First-Come, First-Served Admissions
DAV Degree College is also offering a wide range of courses, including 500 seats in BA, 350 in B.Sc, 180 in the three-year LLB program, and 60 seats in MA (AIH). According to Principal Prof. Rajeev Kumar Tripathi, admissions to all courses except LLB are being granted on a first-come, first-served basis upon fee submission.
College authorities noted that admissions had declined in previous years, prompting institutions to adopt a more accessible approach this session. With limited seats and rising competition, students are advised to apply early to secure their preferred course and college.
This streamlined admission process is expected to benefit students looking for quick enrollment options without procedural delays, especially in the immediate aftermath of board results.
