Prof. S. Victor Babu, Professor of History and Dean of Academic Affairs at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, has been nominated as the General President of the 45th Annual Session of the South Indian History Congress (SIHC) for 2026.
The nomination, made by the Executive Committee of SIHC, acknowledges Prof. Babu’s significant contributions to historical research, academic scholarship, and institutional leadership.
