Inter-Branch Kho Kho, Chess and Carrom Competition Organized at LPS Ansal Branch

A passion for sports, vibrant team spirit and a determined will to succeed this was the atmosphere at the Ansal Branch of Lucknow Public School (C.P. Singh Foundation). The occasion was the grand Inter-Branch Kho Kho, Chess and Carrom Competition, where students from all 10 branches across Lucknow, Unnao and Raebareli showcased their sporting talent.
A Fusion of Enthusiasm and Sportsmanship
The competition was formally inaugurated by Mrs. Reena Ojha, Principal of the Ansal Branch. The event was categorized into different age groups and disciplines, with enthusiastic participation from both boys and girls.
For students of Classes 1 and 2, indoor games like Carrom and Chess were organized. With quiet concentration, the children made strategic moves on the chessboards. Meanwhile, exciting Kho-Kho matches were held for students of Classes 3 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8. The agility and swift chasing skills displayed by the players on the field captivated the spectators.
The Result
In the boys category of Chess, the Sector D Branch emerged victorious, while the Eldeco Branch secured first place in the girls category.
In Carrom, the Sector I Branch won the boys category, while the Sector D Branch clinched the title in the girls category.
In Kho Kho for Classes 3 to 5, the Sector D Branch won the boys category, while the South City Branch secured victory in the girls category.
Furthermore, in Kho-Kho for Classes 6 to 8, the Sector D Branch teams remained undefeated and emerged victorious in both the boys and girls categories.
At the conclusion of the event, the Principal honored all the winning teams and players with medals and trophies.
