Lucknow UG-PG Admissions Begin: Dates Out for Navayug, Vidyant & IT

Navayug opens process; Vidyant from April 15, IT forms from April 17

The admission process for the 2026–27 academic session has commenced across colleges affiliated with the University of Lucknow, with institutions announcing staggered schedules for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

While Navayug Kanya Mahavidyalaya has already begun accepting applications from April 9, Vidyant Hindu PG College will start admissions from April 15. Meanwhile, Isabella Thoburn College (IT) will make offline application forms available from April 17. Candidates can obtain forms from college counters or apply online where applicable.

Navayug admissions underway

At Navayug Kanya Mahavidyalaya, admissions are open for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The college has 700 seats in BA, 100 in BSc (biology), 60 in BSc (PCM), 30 in BSc (statistics), 240 in BCom, 50 in MCom and 50 in MA (economics).

The application fee is ₹900. Students can apply online through the college website, while facilities are also available at the campus computer lab to assist applicants.

IT to release offline forms from April 17

Isabella Thoburn College will issue offline forms between 10am and 1pm starting April 17. The college offers 380 seats in BA, including 200 under the self-finance category, and 320 seats in BCom (self-finance).

In science streams, 120 seats are available in BSc (biology) and 140 in its self-finance category, while BSc (PCM) has 80 seats each in regular and self-finance streams. The college also offers 60 seats in BPharma.

The application and prospectus fee has been set at ₹900.

Vidyant to begin admissions from April 15

Vidyant Hindu PG College will begin its admission process from April 15 for both UG and PG courses. The college has 670 seats in BA, 320 in BCom (regular), and 120 in BCom (self-finance).

At the postgraduate level, 60 seats each are available in MCom and MA (history). The application fee is ₹700, and forms can be collected from the college counter.

Students should keep a close watch on varying admission schedules across colleges and complete applications on time. Applying early can improve chances of securing seats in high-demand courses.
