UP Pollution Control Board Announces 115 Vacancies; Online Applications Begin April 2

The Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) has announced recruitment for 115 vacancies in technical and assistant categories, offering a new opportunity for job seekers in the state.
According to the official notification, the online application process will start on April 2, and candidates can submit their applications until April 22 through the commission’s official website. The entire recruitment process will be conducted online.
The vacancies include positions in technical and support staff categories, aimed at strengthening the board’s workforce in managing environmental monitoring and regulatory activities across the state.
Officials stated that details regarding eligibility criteria, age limit, educational qualifications, and other conditions have been clearly mentioned in the recruitment advertisement. Applicants have been advised to carefully read the complete notification before filling out the application form to avoid any errors.
Educational Qualification:
- Junior Engineer: Diploma in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or Public Health Engineering.
- Scientific Assistant: Postgraduate degree (MSc) in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry or Environmental Science.
- Accountant/Auditor: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) along with at least one year of accounting experience.
- Law Assistant: LLB degree with a minimum of three years of experience as an advocate.
- Monitoring/Laboratory Assistant: Intermediate (10+2) with Science stream.
Age Limit:
As of July 1, 2026, applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹2000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹1000 for SC/ST applicants, while PwD candidates are exempted from the fee as per the notification.
The recruitment drive is expected to attract a large number of candidates seeking government job opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
