7,400+ Smart Classrooms Rollout

In a bold push to transform government schools into centres of future-ready education, the Uttar Pradesh government has installed 7,409 smart classrooms and set up resource centres for technology labs in 5,228 schools across the state. This massive upgrade comes as part of the state’s development roadmap under the ₹9.12 lakh crore UP Budget 2026-27, which prioritises education, technology and empowerment of students statewide.
