The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially declared the result of the written examination conducted for the direct recruitment of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) and equivalent posts under UP Police SI Recruitment 2025. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now check their results through the official portal of UPPRPB by entering their registration number and date of birth.

According to the recruitment board, a total of 12,333 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, which includes Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The number of shortlisted candidates is approximately 2.7 times the total advertised vacancies. Candidates securing the same cut-off marks have also been included in the shortlist.

DV/PST to Be Conducted in May

The board has proposed to conduct the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test in the third week of May 2026. Following this, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is scheduled to be held in June 2026.

Detailed information regarding the examination venue, reporting time, and schedule for DV/PST and PET will soon be published on the official website.

Four Types of Status Mentioned in Result

Candidates checking their result may see any one of the following status messages on the scorecard:

• “Congratulations! You are short listed for DV/PST.”

The candidate has secured marks equal to or above the cut-off and is eligible for the next stage.

• “Sorry! You are not short listed for DV/PST.”

The candidate scored below the cut-off marks required for shortlisting.

• “Sorry! You have not qualified in written test.”

The candidate failed to secure the minimum qualifying marks — 35% in each subject/session and 50% aggregate normalized marks.

• “You were absent in written test.”

The candidate did not appear in the written examination.

Final Answer Key Also Available

Along with the result, the recruitment board has also released the final answer key for the written examination. Candidates can download the final answer key from the official website till May 14, 2026.
